I started writing a novel in high school, but its been years since I did any work on Machine Ghost though there are at least 5 chapters done, and everything is plotted out to the end...) I've started and stopped on many writing projects (I've got a B.A. English/Creative Writing Minor for crying out loud!) The short stories for for the Dead and Back Anarchy Zones project probably constitute one of the most intensive efforts I've put into such an endeavor. And then of course, I've got at least 12 spiral notebooks full of background info for my assorted games, which if I could sit down and type it all up would be more than enough fuel for several complete worlds to run novels through.
One of my school assignments called "stripping away" is a very NSFW work set in the XenoExodous universe of my SF game.
I've also written some very short plays.
Really, its a combination of depression/lacking motivation plus poor work ethic and lack of feed back that I'm not competing with Issac Asimov.
