1KM1KT Free RPG Community

Hello there, fellows, ladies and others across the interwebs. I'm Will, and I've been looking over the stuff at 1KM1KT for a little while - there's some very cool stuff here, and I'd be very in sounding out some ideas I've had for games on these boards. However, I do have a dreaded ulterior motive. I've recently come back to Reading, UK, after university, and I'm sadly bereft of gaming. I'm getting the feeling that this site is slightly more UK-centric than a lot of the other RPG boards, so I was wondering if anyone could help a guy out?

This is a good place to start for all your free RPG needs, or just to discuss big ideas with like minded people. We're not very UK centric, to be honest. Most (is it 90%? I think so...) of our members are outside Europe. Misterecho and I are both from the UK (actually, I am in Reading too) and we post like some sort of horrid plague. Perhaps too much! If you're looking for a top notch very UK-centric board then check out . I also wrote a blog post about how to . Also, have you tried ? They run a club twice a week in a back room of their shop in town.

Hey, Rob! Cheers for the sites - I just checked out NearbyGamers, and saw that you're actually a (relative) stones throw from my house (I'm just by the Black Boy pub). I know Eclectic Games (used to go shopping at the shop back when it was White Knights in that tiny store they used to have), but I wasn't so aware of the clubs. Do you know what days they are on?

I've got a few ideas on the back-burner which I may bring forth for the perusal of the various fine folks here. For now, I'm throwing myself into the Cyberpunk competition to clean off some of the rust
