Would you like to expand on that? What would make it fun?

I havent realy thought about it, i just thought it would be a good idea. I realy injoyed the sims 2, and im looking to get the sims 3 when it comes to ps3. It would have to have a good NPC interactions system, time (24 minutes in a day, i have a stop watch on my phone, mabye less. skip 8 hours when you sleep, 4 when you rest). Of course some minigames, the typical SIMS humour.

Right now, its just an idea, but then again, i have another idea everyday. I wanted to do a rpg about gangstas, polictical stuff(going to war, encomy, goverment spending ect.), and alot more. Problem is its hard to make a rpg, harder to make a solitare rpg.

I think the problem is that for it to be a solitaire RPG - why not just play the Sims? As an RPG to be played with lots of people, I see that as being interesting but if you're on your own, you might as well play the Sims!

I find a great deal of inspiration in other games. (2GB of PDF files for RPGs isn't an obsession - right?) Here are a few that might be quite useful in giving your projects some direction.

First of all, , has a free game called "Mobsters" about prohibition era gangsters. It has both a lot of useful background information, and a strategic element about taking over businesses in the city - which may be the kind of thing you're trying to create.

My own RPG - - is a fairly simple rule set meant to run things in the style of the GTA series of video games. This could also be a potentiality basis for your ideas. Oddly enough, I was thinking of making a variant of these rules set in medieval japan with the abbreviation WotN - Way of the Ninja.

is an unusual game that was entered in a contest we ran a few months back. Its about competing influences on a central character - much like the competing social needs seen in the sims series of games.

is a solitaire game based on another famous video game. It presents choices about trading time, resources, or health to achieve tasks, and asks at the end if you remained true to the style of play you chose at the start. Something similar done for the sims - did you fulfill the personal goal you pick at the beginning, trading friendship, money, and comfort - may be a possible way to wok your game.

I hope these can help, or at least just provide some enjoyable reading.

lol funny man.

I got my inspireation from a show of the same name GANGLAND. I just got into GTA (i think i might be alittle late to the party). Way of the Ninja, sounds awesome, hey its like mine WotS - WotN, have you finished it?
I looked at that Pnp Doom game, preety cool, the cheat thing at the end was preety funny. I might have a look at some of those.
