I've seen HULC before, but eLegs was amazing. I really want to see man machine interfaced cybernetic limbs, but a certain portion of me knows there is great difficulty in grafting metal parts to flesh. Something external like these machines get past those cleanliness, input, and energy issues, and are probably the real hope for most people.

TED talks is a wonderful site. Have you seen George Dyson talking about Project Orion yet?

I seriously should have stuck with my first idea for last year's Cyberpunk Revival Project....we do live in the world that the 1980's predicted (or a mid variation of it). I should have just written a game about modern life, statted it up with an equipment list which was just the classifieds from a local paper, and thrown in a few conspiracy theories.

My wife has multiple sclerosis. There may come a day when I have to put her in a wheelch....

Oh hell yeah! Super powered alien queen wrestling exoskeleton!

My life today:

J's wife: "My arms are not working right today. Honey, do this for me."

My life in the future:

J's wife: "It's crazy out there. In my exoskeleton, on the way to the corner store, I had to choke the heads off of 5 zombies."

Ah, the future is bright.
