Is anybody doing it from here this year?

I'm almost tempted not to, mainly because nothing about it speaks to me. I mean, the Shakespeare did but the ingredients ... I just dunno.

I'm in it this year...

Here are my twin threads in

and

I had the same issue where the theme sounded instantly evocative, but the ingredients hamstrung all of the concepts I initially had for it.

So I'm plugging away at an entry that's not quite what I wanted, but hopefully something interesting will come from it.

Strangely enough, I've got a degree in English Literature, but did very little with Shakespeare. My education was focused more on modern works.

I don't think I'll officially enter, but I am brainstorming some ideas. The first that comes to mind is to make it some sort of intrigue dealing with a contemporary theater company. Backstabbing to gain funding from a patron of the arts, or perhaps something akin to "Paranoia meets Hamlet".

Good luck to those of you who are entering.

Ah, a fellow English Lit folkster.

I think that's what I'm going to do when I review them, because I think it's only fair that people do get feedback faster, also I do like the new format, in the hopes that there is some kind of feedback but again the problem is that if you don't make it you aren't going to get any feedback at all.
