So I'm still around, the long and short of is my depression + work + life= VERY little creative juices. Been working on fixing that when I can. so far the only lasting project I have is a (title in debate) genre-ist based game about survival. If the term does not compute, if there was a scale between Setting based games and rules tool kits (like fudge or Gurps) Genre-ist is in the middle. Think not a setting but a game type, DnD (fantasy) or all brains must be eaten.

so yeah *waves from the cave*

Looks like everyone's been hibernating so don't feel alone (in being alone I guess).

So are you working on a Survival Genre game? What books or movies are you drawing inspiration from?

Hibernating is about right! I've managed to do a fair amount of design on Icar over the winter; I hope to playtest the new space combat system this week and I can get that into version 5.

I've also been making a computer game version of Cloudship Atlantis but we're mates on Facebook, so you will have seen that!

What's made life tough at home is my daughter, Naomi, is currently teething. It makes doing anything through the veil of sleep deprivation really tough. I hope that's going to come to an end soon. I've also managed to find time in the mornings by getting up 30 minutes earlier and getting stuck into something I find fun; such as coding my game or scribbling down stuff for Icar.
