Did anyone read the Hedge Knight and/or the graphic novel/mini-series that Devil's Due put out? I'm curious because I ordered the graphic novel (I hate those Legends books) and I was wondering how it compared to the story.

The Hedge Knight short story out of legends is really quite good. It gives you a lot of subtle insight to the history of Westeros without slamming you upside the head with the information. I think GRR Martin really shines as a writer when he drops little pieces of information about the setting of the world through his regular storytelling (like finding little nuggets of gold).
The Story stands on its own- and that is some strong praise. The characters are fun and the progression of the plotline is snappy enough to have you read it all in one sitting.
As for the graphic novel- the art looks great and I know the people that worked on it are loyal Westeros fans- so it should be a solid translation.
