Crime Fighter RPG is a superheroic roleplaying game of masked detectives. For those into a more the type of 'Batman' detective comics superhero, give Crime Fighter a shot. It is currently available for download at RPGLaboratory.com at:
Also available for download are the sourcebooks 'Scofflaws & Scoundrels' and 'The Awful Eight'. The sourcebooks detail a number of ready made crime fighters and criminals in the game, like the Enemies books for Champions or the Most Wanted books for Villains & Vigilantes. In due time, the rulebook and the sourcebooks will have their own page for download here at 1km1kt when I'm sure I have the final edition of the rules, but for now you can easily opo over to RPG Lab and download them all there.
Another sourcebook added

To those interested, I've just added another sourcebook to Crime Fighter RPG called 'Worst Of The Worst'. If you take the previously provided link to my Crime Fighter RPG blog at RPG Laboratory, you will find Worst Of The Worst there and available for download. Enjoy!

Crime Fighter is really great Errin... say, have you submitted it to Keeton for a 1km1kt page yet... I've come to see the RPG-Lab as the place to put up unfinished work as it's in development... then a release on 1km1kt as sort of the "publication" of the work... sort of an official way to say, "This is done... play it now."

Last I checked, Keeton was swamped with work, so I have held back with submitting Crime Fighter RPG to 1km1kt as of yet. I'm sure I will eventually. As it were, my Dungeon Party RPG page here at 1km1kt is still in need of correction, as it doesn't have all the proper files available for download yet (and has somehow been cursed with one mix-up after the next in the download department). After the Dungeon Party RPG page has been fixed, then I'll submit Crime Fighter RPG, which is pretty much complete.
How close are you to submitting Supers Brawl to 1km1kt? It's a game so excellent it inspired me to make Crime Fighter RPG a reality.

Okay, now Crime Fighter RPG has a page of it's own at 1km1kt:
Thanks, Keeton! I hope using RPG Lab to move the files from made your task easier.
Please check out this superheroic detective RPG, as it comes with three sourcebooks full of non-player crime fighters and non-player criminals, with artwork made by the Hero Machine.
Enjoy!

Great work, ErrinF. I'm not one for detective games usually but this has sparked an interest!
Thanks

Glad you like the game, Rob. The online Hero Machine program for all the artwork really helped a lot for making the sourcebooks, which make the game in my opinion. I like the core rules a lot too, as they are simple yet cover enough bases to allow tactics and clever use of 'super' powers. Also, you really have to have an all-out brawl to take somebody down, wounding them slightly at first, then taking advantage of it to continually beat them down, wounding them more until they are incapacitated. That's exactly the kind of system I was looking for, as it is all supposed to be representative of the detective comics of the 70's, most notably Detective Comics featuring The Batman.
