Question for the author (Xavier Raoult), or anyone else who can figure it out:

In the monsters section, a typical description looks like this:

Orc raider (Brute): MR 14 (+2/+6), use a broadsword
and a shield and wear leather armor, Body 14, Mind 7

What do the numbers in parentheses (+2/+6) mean? They don't seem to be explained.

Game is if anyone wants to take a look.

Thanks for your interest!

Well, the numbers are the precalculated modifiers for the monster's challenge rolls. Thus the Orc has usually a +2 modifier for his Challenge rolls but a +6 modifier for Might Challenge rolls (since he's a Brute).

It's just a reminder for lazy GM like me who don't want to do the math during play.

Happy gaming!

Xavier Raoult

Thanks for clearing that up. It looks like a tight little game. I can easily see myself playing that.

I was put off a little by the small spell list at first, but the spells are broad enough that it can handle just about anything that comes up. I may steal some of your ideas for some future project.

Yeah, it tried to put the most common spell effects in the smallest spell list possible. I'm very proud of the result.

Anyway, I'm currently rewriting the rules. I'll add some tweaks and some new things as well as clarify the rules as much as I can.

If you find anything else that bother you, please tell me.
