TTA - Open Call for Writers

The Evil Overlord of Tabletop Adventures is unsatisfied with the production rate of his current minions, and so is recruiting new minions .. er, writers to serve in a freelance capacity. Potential min... er, scribes should posses the capability of writing short descriptions, characters, and encounters, and other items as required. Tabletop Adventures specializes in "drop-in" products that can be used by GMs with minimal adaptation for their game settings. (For examples, do not pester the Overlord. Instead see the Tabletop Adventures website, .) In order to gain the beneficial interest of the Overlord, send an inquiry at your best speed, not forgetting to include samples of your supreme efforts, to the Editorial Minion: editor@tabletopadventures.com. Any complaints with regard to this offering should be directed to executioner@tabletopadventures.com, where they will be... dealt with.

Further note: for more information on our philosophy of writing descriptions, see the article "Using Descriptions to Enhance Your Game," available through the home page of 1KM1KT.

Hey, Vicki... thanks for posting!

I was wondering (if you come back through and check this)- if the open call is potentially a paying gig?

Chris,
I have my clever computer assistant watching this thread for me, and do occasionally come by in person also.

So, to answer your question, yes it is a paying gig. I have to admit that we are not offering the top rates in the industry, but at this point the freelance writers are getting paid better than the members of the company.

So, if you or anyone else are interested, drop a note to the address in the above post; we'll be happy to hear from you.

Vicki,

We'd like to do more to promote your project.

We have: banner space opening up in March, front page spots available for articles.

We need: Artwork, original content (reviews, articles, etc.), and new users in the forum.

What do you think?

Keeton

Hmm... Sounds like something mutually beneficial could come of this. Let me take this up with the Overlord, and we'll see what we can come up with.
