Gaming Theory

Hi Everyone,

I just thought I'd share my with everyone.

Last year I covered a game mechanism every week, with the hope that I might learn something about the way games run by analysing the structures within them.

This year I'm looking at a new theory regarding game design and how games operate.

Cool! Vulpinoid, I've moved this into the more prominent RPG forum. I appreciate you choosing 'Promotions' for it initially but I think this thread might throw up some cool discussions based on your blog's findings. So it definitely belongs here. :)

It is a very nice blog! I just commented on your Sanity article. I have a very strong opinion about it.

Thanks for posting this in a more heavily trafficked area if you think this will be a valuable resource for the community.

Mechanics have always been my weak point in design--a blog like this is amazingly useful and interesting.

I look forward to trawling through the archives.
