See, this is what happens when I stay up until one thirty working on a silly game about cowboys that I decided to write on a whim.
So, in all it's not-that-glorious glory. All comments are welcome, on everything from system mechanics to presentation to what little content there is. Bear in mind once again, on a whim, one thirty in the morning, silly game about cowboys.

Neat game. What if you used the doubles mechanic for the skill tests too? It would make the wound mechanism a bit simpler. If the dc is 1 (1 double) and you use 3 dice (1 more than strictly needed) you take off one die.

That is much smoother and less confusing, thank you. This is the kind of thing that doesn't occur to me.

Being one step removed helps look at things differently. That's why having a community that wants to help is cool.

If anyone wants to knock me up a better title graphic, by the way, you will be entirely unpaid in all but gratitude.

I like the fact it's a one pager.
is some cowboy fonts you could use for your title.

I love the name, and it is short and sweet. The double's mechanism also seems creative.

Well done, you do a great job of getting the atmosphere down in just a page, even without addressing certain trappings of the genre.
Saying "doubles " seems a little odd to me. Perhaps you should say the mechanic is based on "looking for patterns" or seeking straights/poker hands. So one pair is good, three of a kind is worth two, two pair is worth two (Or perhaps more if the poker analogy is to be maintained.)
Giving a few more examples of difficulty or the expected minimum number of dice might make it a bit easier to play.
Would you consider expanding to a second page that does address trains or six shooters (ie having the right equipment is a die that can be lost instead of an attribute?)
From a long time ago, 1km1kt.net hosts a game called "" based on poker dice - it might be of interest to you.

i'm liking the game, but I'll agree with CA, "doubles" sounds kinda odd.

Pairs? Matches?
