El Casador

Over the month of November I worked on three games. One game, "The Bodhisattva's Smile", was completed in 24 hours for the Harder than Granite contest. One game worked upon was my ongoing "Walkabout" project. The third game was intended to be another 24 hour submission, but after working on it for more than a day I couldn't in good conscience submit it as a part of Harder than Granite.

This game is a diceless, numberless mecha versus kaiju/alien-abomination game, in the vein of "Pacific Rim" or "Evangelion" in space. More than just fighting, it is designed to tell the backstory of the pilots and weave this into the narrative of the conflict.

I'll be releasing a version of this game soon, but I expect it to go through a few more revisions before I'm really happy with it.

Ooooh! I've not seen Pacific Rim but I'm aware of it. I am now aware of your game and this puts you in the unfortunate position of FINISHING IT.
