What comes to mind when I say . . .

So I'm slowly getting back into gear and working a new project. Yes this does have some tie-ins to the idea about bullet penetration and wound tracks that is being discussed else where in this collection of awesomeness.

So here it is . . . I'm going to suggest a game title and I am interested in hearing/seeing what the specters, haunters and benevolent spirits of these pages think of when they read the name.

That's it. I give a name and nothing else, and if interested tell us what comes to mind. What do you think of in respects to RPG's if you saw a title like;

TUNNEL RATS

Fallout.

EDIT: Okay, fine, Fallout, Underrail, and a variety of those awesome pen-and-paper inspired video games.

Thanks, for the info. I'll have to check 'em out as I didn't know of those titles.

Tunnel gives me dungeon crawl + claustrophobia.
Rats gives me 'running away from', 'looked down on/thought of as a lower lifeform, to be exterminated with impunity', and 'having specialist underground burrowing and orientation skills' .

Tunnel Rats, taken together, therefore gives me a group of people, scorned by the majority (an occupying force/alien overlord type set-up?) but perhaps heroic to some, perhaps a (metaphorical) underground resistance movement that is being hunted through (literal) underground passageways etc.

Am I warm, or do I reside with polar bears and Arctic foxes?

I second the vote for Cu Chi in the Iron Triangle of Vietnam, though some sort of post-apocalyptic or underground scene would also fit.

To add something new to options the list - how about"

A variant of D&D type fantasy where adventures are seen as the scum of the earth, and not those who come to save the day. People so desperate/outcast that they rob graves and raid orc camps for cash.

World War One miners digging trenches or placing explosives (As said before the battle of the : "we may not change history, but we will certainly change geography).

Anthropomorphic groundhogs joining forces with badgers, hares, naked mole rats, and other burrowing animals to save the surface world from things that lie in the depths.
