As per request of a nice guy . . . separate thread for separate game.

Okay . . . couldn't sleep had to write.
this is a DRAFT and a more stream of conscious style creation as I had to get it out of my head and off my scattered notes into something. It needs work, and some extras but the entire basics are there.

It is called CBM-RPG (Card Based Mechanic - Role Playing Game) again it needs work.

Enjoy.

OK, man this is a long document! I was expecting 2-3 pages!

I'm a little confused by the triple success of five of a kind. Is that four of a kind with a joker?

When laying my set on another player's set, do I get the original successes to? So if the player before me puts down 1-2-3 and gets two successes, then I put down 4-5-6 do I get four? Am I taking successes away from the first player (awkward) or am I getting extra ones?. What about if the next player lays down a 7-8-9?

I see the Jokers being wild is mentioned, this should be moved up to prepare the reader for the five of a kind statement

It's stated that if I boost or swap I can't play another set. If I don't boost or swap can I then play more than one set? How would I do that?

I have to pause and pick back up later.

IF anyone has some time to review the above link . . .
I would greatly appreciate some feed back on a good layout for it. :)

I have some items to add, and would like to start cleaning this monster up.

I do feel I should add a couple of "Tester" Adventures in various theme to help show how this system could be used, though that means coming up with "Talents" exclusive to those types of settings (Ie, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Horror?), and I also know I need to add some clearer examples, maybe with diagrams showing layouts, or samples of play.

It does need a better section of Gear, with a few tables and examples so GMs can tweak and add as needed for their game style.

Anyway. TTYL. Cheers.

Been super busy, sorry for not picking this back up, I'll try a bit later. Even better, if you get an updated version, I can dive into that.

I'll work on getting an updated one out maybe during the weekend.
Just finishing up the audits here, so I can now breath and dive back into writing again.
