I've been pretty quiet around here over the past year, that doesn't mean I haven't been busy with design work. On the contrary, I've been busier than ever.

One of those projects has come to fruition with the recent release of "The Scavenger's Tale", my first picture book based in the world of my Walkabout RPG.

Completing this picture book has clarified a few things about the setting, and I'll be doing some more work on the game this year. I originally intended to release the game in time for the 2012 December solstice, to coincide with the new age of the Mayan calendar (but that obviously didn't happen), now it's aiming for a 2015 release date.

Interesting, keep us updated on how it effects the acceptance of the game. I mean it's hard to track these things, but do players buy the picture book first and then the game or vice versa? It would be useful to know if how much people that buy the picture book use it to introduce the setting.

WOW! Awesome production values there, Vulp!

I've flicked through the pages and will be spending the next batch of Icar money on a copy for sure. :-)
