Wow, I go away for 10 minutes and there's a burst of activity. Thanks for holding the fort, Chainsaw!
Chainsaw, we can still make games under the rules, you just can't win the money. One of the reasons I put the compo together was to give me an excuse to try.
@Peril Planet, that's a superb entry. Regardless of whether it wins, I think it'll get a review on the Free RPG Blog!
@talysman Text is fine too... you can always use to turn it into a PDF.
This weekend, I wrote The Great Hamster Rebellion. I'm sad to say that my concentration was broken somewhat by one of my pet gerbils dying. Talk about irony. 8(
So it's not complete, but I submitted it anyway. I might try again with another subject, if that is indeed allowed.
Heh, I think it was BortJr who wanted to know about text submissions.
I've submitted my PDF and will post a link and start a thread for it once it's available on 1KM1KT. The rules are mostly complete, but the PDF isn't. I would have liked to include the planned marginalia and do more graphically. I probably needed some examples and optional rules as well. Still, it came in at 23 pages, so it's time to stop.

@Spacemouse My condolences. I recently lost a Dwarf hamster and was gutted. Of course you may pick a new topic and try again! There is no harm to it.
@talysman Congratulations! You're more than welcome to take the 24 hour game and refine, improve and upload again - not for the competition but for the love of getting it right.
@talysman! Congratulations in completing another 24 hour RPG ... I'll ask more questions in the thread you created.
@flamyngo Glad you like the use of Keeton's name. OUR GLORIOUS BENEFACTOR (OGB) deserves nothing less! Also, it puts the whole tilt of the competition at an angle of silliness.
I'm working out a weekend in May that I can do mine. I'm going to try and rope some friends in to join me and have a sort of 24 hour vigil. Should be a laugh. Then get drunk/pass out at the end!
