This would be great idea for contest. Check out my website for great watches of dice. I have learned a lot from this post and you can learn watches too.

Other thought, doing a game all in verse.

Our Glorious Benefactor
bought a kitchen and a wig.
"All hail Keeton", in angelic voices
sang the birdies on the twig.

"Don't forget the №7 iron,
catch a golf course while you can",
thus the birdies blurted out
another dose of spam.

So, do we have a theme for the 2014 contest yet? The spambot thing was funny, but not that evocative for me (I won't speak for anyone else, though).

Our last two contests have been tiny spaces, and tiny games. How about a 180 turnabout?

.

Battlemechs, Daikaiju, Dreadnoughts, Demigods.
None of this starting with a rusty dagger and 1d10 coins - if a first level character can't flatten a small city, you're doing it wrong. Perhaps they have attributes that represent entire armies, or are simply heroes tasked with policing an entire planet.

Since this year is the centennial anniversary of World War One's beginning, I feel compelled to say perhaps the Great War should be a topic for a contest. Per my usual habit when suggesting topics - Xenofiction with no humans or analogs there of seems like a good possibility as well.

Another genre or creature remix may also be in the cards. It has been a while since we recreated cyberpunk. Vampires and zombies are a bit played out at the moment, but no one is looking under the ocean.
