24 hour Geodesic Gnomes goes PRO!

Don't get me wrong, Geodesic Gnomes is still the awesome free 24 hour RPG it was back in 2009 when I wrote it. It also picked up some sweet reviews including this wicked one from Rob Lang:

"Geodesic Gnomes is tighter than the suit you only wear for weddings and funerals. The system does not wear the setting like a serial killer might wear the skin of a victim but embraces it like an over affectionate grandmother. The setting is great and would stand up next to much larger games. If you think you've seen Cyberpunk done every possible way, think again." - ... desic.html

But in a show of just how solid of a 24 hour project Geodesic Gnomes was, there are other people still running and playing this game - people I'm totally, 100%, not associated with! It shows up at conventions!

And now, Mark Chance of SPES Magna has released a wonderful non-linear adventure for it! Called MetroGnomes, the adventure is available over at RPGnow:

So yeah, I'm proud as punch. My little game is having babies!

PS: An image search for "Geodesic Gnomes" returns some STRANGE results

This is absolutely superb, Dyson. I love Geodesic Gnomes, it's so delightfully nuts and I am thrilled it's having babies. :)

I re-read it yesterday and plan on running both Metro Gnomes and Geordie's Angle over the holidays. It holds together remarkably well for a 24 hour project.

I'm also getting a friend with an ammunition press to make me a bunch of 9mm all-brass rounds without primer or gunpowder so I can run a game of A Flask Full of Gasoline.
