If someone posts a spam comment on the website itself, rather than the forum, how do we report it? I ask because the only comment on my RPG is a spam one.

At the moment, we don't have spam protection for the main site. I can't see it going on because we're working on a new archive, which will have spam protection. I'll look into other (easier) ways.

You can always report it to the moderators which include Rob and Myself and others (Forget right this second) which will show up in my email and I can get to it then

Really, really bad bump, but isn't it a little ironic a spammer chose this of all topics?

note to mods: I deleted the comment on the main section by going to the dashboard and searching for the comment author's name (was distinct). There seems to be no way of doing it from the post itself.

When I see a spammer, what I do is dependent on the type of spam. If it's a single, and it's funny, I remove the links and stick it into the Mock The Bot forum.

If it's a human spammer, chances are there will be lots of posts, so I'll go into the admin screen and delete the user and all its posts. BANG. DEAD. NOT COMING BACK.
