Early Chef Entrants
Posted: Fri May 13, 2005 9:36 amGiven that we've announced our contest prior to it actually occuring (formerly there was no advance notice), people have had an opportunity to express that they're interested in participating. I find this pretty ballsy, especially given that they have yet to see the ingredients this time out. I'd always assumed that a lot of what drove people either to participate, or not participate, was whether or not the ingredients inspired them. But I may be wrong about that.
In any case, part of the Game Chef competitions has always been boasting and bravado. So, basically I'm encouraging you, if you dare, to post your name in this thread as claiming that you're going to participate. This will give people an idea of the field this year.
And while you're here, if you want to try to intimidate your opposition, well, far be it from me to try to stop you. Do you think you have what it takes to not only enter, but complete your game (many have tried and failed)? If you think so, then let it be known. Let's not be timid here!
