As I gaze out over kitchen stadium I am struck by the quiet, the calm before the storm. Soon these forums will be packed to capacity and drowning in the barely contained chaos of design.
The ingredients have been revealed, what tantalizing delights will soon dance across our gaming taste buds. Who will strike first and titillate us with an early glimpse of their design? Who will play close to the vest and not reveal their tasty dish until the very end? Who will be crowned the new Iron Game Chef?
Only time will tell.
But for now. All is quiet.

I even see a delectable sounding morsal popular at Medieval Universities (I wonder if we shall all be treated to several courses of the Trivium and Quadrivium). There is even one from the Great Depression...in space. An unusual twist, we shall see how the judges react to it.
The Chairman looks forward to sampling even more dishes from even more exotic places off the beaten path.
And so the Chairman announces the first
