JESUS CHRIST: The Roleplaying Game

I have been of the thinking of the ingredients for some days now. It is the case that many of the dovarish on this forum are making the great game. If one looked from outside, one might say, "My stars, Nikolai Volkoff the Mighty RUSSIAN Bear- There are many good ideas! They are making the great game! How can you win the award for MOTHER RUSSIA?"

I say, "I am knowing the face you make as you are thinking this thing. BUT, I am very strong with the creativity." So I will make the thread of the ideas for making GAME!!!

1) JESUS CHRIST: THE ROLEPLAYING GAME.

It hit me like three ton of high-grade all purpose RUSSIAN cement.
Wine. Invincible. Companion. Accuser.
"OH MY! Is story of the Last Days of the JESUS!"

So one idea is this game with these ingredients. Period is Days of Jesus Christ. I am thinking that the limitation used here is "No Character Generation".

Invincible is the Pharisees, for their Law has kept them in rigid place. This is an ingredient of background of story, and mechanically you can never defeat them.

Companion is the Disciples. Each player plays a Disciple, who have the set character sheets.

Accuser is the JUDAS. However, in this game anyone can be the Accuser. You can change the history, or the Judas player can accuse.

Wine is the Blood of Christ, which you use to do things in His name on sheet.

I am thinking that this is roleplaying storytelling game, with the Endgame, much like great RUSSIAN game "My Life With Joseph Stalin". Your characters do missions in name of God, bring word of Peace to Jew people. Then, at one point, because of balance of character sheet, one player must Accuse Jesus, and sell him out to the Pharisees. Jesus is then whipped like meat.

The important thing is positioning. The first half of game is spreading the word and making the connections with the other Companions and other people. The second half of game is make the sure that Jesus goes on cross in dignified way. JESUS MUST BE ON CROSS. However, if you do not work together, Jesus may die in whipping, or die while carrying cross, or may be freed by army of well-wishers. This cannot happen. One must use abilities, teamwork and power of Jesus Blood to make sure he dies, but dignified.

This is a thought. More thoughts of games to come.

You may take this idea if you want to, or make the similar game, because no matter what hapen I will win GAME CHEF prize for MOTHER RUSSIA!!!

Fantastic idea. If you (or someone else) develops this, I'd like to see how you treat the endgame - I too am inspired by MlwM in this regard!

Congratulations on your induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, btw. :)

So obvious it is brilliant! I'm stunned how well the story of Jesus' last days incorporates those themes and ingredients. Rock on, you Russian man-mountain!

The idea of dignity as a core value in an RPG is intensely interesting.

I think this is being a work of genius. Am also thinking that Russian idiom is highly addicting!

More seriously: I hope that you finish this game because I think it's a briliant idea. Especially because, IMHO, the people who get offended by this will have missed the point. That's a really hard thing to achieve, and I think you've nailed it (so to speak...)

Very nice. I had the same concept but am planning on taking it in a different direction... just the Last Supper itself, as a strict one-shot. Such a great fit to the ingredients, innit?

A tip of the hat to you for being willing to tackle this one. Because of the different scales, I don't think it'll be too hard not to tread on one anothers' toes...
