I have an idea. No game yet, just an idea. Will it form into a game worthy of this contest? Only time will tell. Until then, I give you this:

It is a game where the players play insects, living like all bugs do until one day, their home is invaded by toxic waste. Many bugs die that day but those that do not become invincible. They search the world, along with their companions, looking for a way to stop the killing of their brethren. The only one who can stop them is... the Entomologist.

Coming soon:

Step 1:

Kill a bug. Keep it in front of you by pinning it to some cork or something. That is your character.

Do you have to kill it with a dice? Or else, how can you call it Rolling for Stats?

Meh. I hate random character generation. If you could make this points based I would play.

Addendum to Step 1:

One player does not have to kill a bug and put it in front of him/her. That player is known as The Accuser. The Accuser will play three roles in the game. The first is The Toxic Waste Dumper. The second is the President of the United States (or similar government official in the nation in which you live). The third is the expert witness, the Entomologist. These roles will play out in the game's three acts.

The scene is a courtroom. The players with bugs are the plaintiffs, bringing suit against humanity. First they make their case (and also using their companions as witnesses) against the toxic waste dumper. The Accuser may make any story he wants for why the toxic waste dumper dumped waste on the bugs and justifications for doing so. Eventually, however, his justifications will not suceed because the bugs are invincible and the president will step in.

The bugs make their case against human government. The Accuser uses any justifications he or she likes but the bugs persevere and the president calls in the expert witness, the entomologist.

The bugs and the entomologist face off them in a battle of wits until one trumps the other. Then the game is over.

Ugh. This needs a lot more work and I'm going to be out of town all weekend. So I'm going to disqualify myself for the contest and withdraw.

However, if anyone has any feedback, I'd still appreciate it.
