IRON GAME DESTROYER

Inspired by Doug's IRON GAME REVIEWER, I'll try to find a bug or loophole in every one of the 37 games, minus Companion Fever (I note some weaknesses in Doug's thread) - other people may kill that one.

I won't start until next week, probably - this means that anyone who doesn't want their game 'destroyed' can PM me and I'll lay off. Wouldn't want to offend.

I'll be looking for rule weaknesses, exploits, unintended effects, etc. I won't be looking at preferred playstyle, setting, etc. - these are too much a matter of personal taste.

This is a good idea, but be kind.

I'll offer this up to whet your appetite - I neglected to include a mechanism for resolving ties in The Shab-al-Hiri Roach...D'oh!

Tobias, you are an evil Dutch genius and I bow before you!

Iron Game Destroyer sounds like it should be a giant robot of earthshaking power. Just remember to drive it nicely, now...

There is no malice involved. I'm going at it from a 'help the designer prevent player disappointment' point of view.

Kinda a VR massive-destruction robot.

Lesse, 6 weeks, -1 for starting next week, is 5, 36 games = 7 per week.

The first 7 on the chopping block will be:

Founding Fathers
In a Grove
Morpho
Invincible
Titania Regina
Guilty before God
Worker's paradise.

Monday is the day of postage. Let me know before them if you don't want your game chopped!

Sounds like fun. I'll give you a hint for Labyrinthiathan, if you want it.

Excellent

I'd be completely fascinated to see what you come up with for Worker's Paradise. I'm planning a layout-only reprint, if you want it in a slighly nicer-to-read version.
