Revving up for '06

The contest start in just over a week, and we can feel the anticipation congealing in the air above the cookers. But who is out there fumbling desperately with their cook books is the hopes of memorising an apt recipe for the big event? Who is sharpening their knives, fitting titanium blades and cooling towers to their blender and training their taste buds with blind spice tests?
Will Mischa D. Krilov be the first Chef to successfully defend his title? Will Eero Tuovinen return to claim his crown? Did Jason A Petrasko or Eric Finley catch the bouquet? Or will, once more, the title be snuck away in the hands of some dark horse?
I mean to reclaim the throne, who will stand in my way?

I thought this competition was non-competitive and consisted of peer reviews, energy circles and encounter groups?
I would like to stand beside you and assist you in our shared journey...

Flensing knives... *sniksniksnik* Check.
Lemon juice... *squirt* Check.
Sugar... *thump as it hits the bottom of the bin* Can't seem to find it.
Salmonella and other assorted poisons... ahem... no, none of those. *whistles innocently* (check)
Chainsaw... *EMMMbrrrbrremmbrrremememmmmmm* Check.
Uranium 245... *ticketty-tick-tick-tick* mmm still giving off a healthy 50 rads. Check.
Hey what's this on the chainsaw? A warning label? "Danger: do not attempt to stop chain with hand or genitals." Hmm.
OK, I reckon I'm about ready.
Ash
