"Idiots," Vance mutters to himself as he tries to secure the goods that he found. At least there was something there in case they needed a bit more air to survive what was happening. The EVA tethers were going to be useless, which of course meant that they were going to be needed at some point in time.

Vance wasn't too sure about the drugs though. White pills could mean a lot of things and unless they had a box of instructions they weren't going to do anyone any good.

"Hey," Vance says through the comm, "what's going on over there?'

"Someone's really done a number on this thing. It got viruses like the kind moms in off shore casinos send you. We might do better trying to EVA to the station. I'll see if I can squish Gavin here and maybe you see if you can get those packs working."

Alex flips the breaker and goes back into single user mode and deletes the debug program. "It would take a miracle for this to work. I just need the engines." Then tries to boot again.

Vance's eyebrow shot up, "What am I supposed to do? Whack them until they work?" Shaking his head Vance got to work on the controls to see if there was anything he could do to get them to work.

Going to spent 2 MAP to get this to work, repairs away!

Alex hear's Vance's quick reply but pays it little attention as he works to make this FRACKED
shuttle work. Flipping the breaker and punching in strings of code on the terminal panel he works
as fast as the bulky suit gloves will allow him . . . he grows confident he's finally ahead of the code errors
and whatever else was wreaking havoc on the system . . .

"SMEG HEADED GIMBOIDED PIECE OF SEMG!!!" . . . Alex literally starts kicking the terminal
as the screen flickers and then goes blank. Alex only stops when he notices gray-black vapors starting to
float from the unit . . .

Vance makes a more thorough inspection of the propellant units and smiles. He can bypass the control
modules all together and wire them into the auxillary control units of each suit . . . only on problem he
can reach Alex's without issue . . . but he'll need to have Alex wire in his . . .

TURN 6: Status
Alex: -0 PEP / -0 MAP / -1 AR (Cur: 2 PEP / 2 MAP / 24 AR)
Vance: -0 PEP / -2 MAP / -1 AR (Cur: 3 PEP / 2 MAP / 24 AR)
*Made a mistake; Vance should have 21 AR . . . but as I've only noticed it now I am not going to correct.*

Alex: No Bid. Attempting to reboot shuttle again to gain access to the engines.
Result: 1H + 2T = Failure (Severe Complication)
The system crashes; there's a flicker of light and then gray-black vapors begin to fill the
shuttle cabin.

Vance: Bid 2 MAP to repair Propellant Tank controls.
Result: 2H + 1T + 2 MAP = Success (Minor Complication)
Vance studies the wrecked modules and realizes he can just cross wire the controls t
the built in plug n' play auxiliary control of each EVA suit, with only one small problem . . .
he wont be able to wire his own control . . . he'll need Alex to do it.

"Well, that's that. I hope you're doing better over there 'cause all the magic blue smoke just got out of the computer. Does anyone have a gun?" Alex complains.

Vance smiled, "Yeah, I've got something better. These can be wired into our own suit's aux controls. The main ones on the propellant are messed up. Get over here and we can wire each other up. It will be oh so romantic."

"Ew, now I really want a gun." Alex says. He floats over and wires up Vance.

I'm going to spend a MAP on this.

"I'm wounded, sir. I am a very attractive man."

I am going to spend a MAP on this too.

Vance takes no time in wireing the propellant pack to the Aux Control on Alex's EVA suit.
In fact he did it so quickly and effortlessly that Alex figured it would be a easy deal . . .
however the process wasn't so easy once Alex went to work. The jumble of wires in both
suit's Aux control and the mangled pack control modules made his head swim . . . it was worse than
de-bugging 12 thousand lines of code on a micro-cromatic monitor . . .

"OUCH!"

Alex shakes his hand after a small shock as Vance chuckles at his misfortune. But that was the only
draw back and soon both Vance and Alex had working Propellant packs on thier backs.

TURN 7 Status:
Alex: -0 PEP / -1 MAP / -1 AR (Cur: 2 PEP / 1 MAP / 23 AR)
Vance: -0 PEP / -1 MAP / -1 AR (Cur: 3 PEP / 1 MAP / 23 AR)

Alex: Bid 1 MAP to Wire the Propellant pack to Vance's Aux Suit Control.
Result: 2H + 1T + 1 MAP = Success (Minor Complication)
Alex is able to wire the pack to Vance's suit but gives himself a shock in the process.
The control is wired properly.

Vance: Bid 1 MAP to Wire the propellant pack to Alex's Aux Suit Control.
Result: 3H +1 MAP = Perfect Result
Vance is able to wire the controls in without a problem.

Vance felt that they were as ready as they could be to try to make the trek back to the station. It wasn't as if they had gone that far before the ship ran into problems, and if things worked out right they would just be able to get back and work their way on the new crews, waiting for a ship to go planet side. Better to be safe though, so Vance grabbed one of the AR bottles and shook it.

"Better top up before we head out there."

I think we should top up our air tanks before we do a space jaunt with the propellant.
