Croft example

Feels like I've been working on this for a million years! Here's the new version of a Croft (automated farm) taking delivery from a Cyclone. This kind of event happens a lot and is a good time for criminals to sneak people and illegal items off planet.

i like the reference to a croft. :) we still have them up here, although i doubt many have survived this cold snap.

I like the term Croft. I like the idea of a small, friendly community set far away from 'Civilisation'. Although that doesn't really exist in the modern communication world (and even less so in the Icar universe), the term Croft does bring about feelings of friendly community. It does to me. :)

I do drink single malt. At uni, I'd finish a bottle of Glenfiddich in an evening.

Gordon Mckerrell is fairly scottish.

A whole bottle of whiskey in a single night is hardcore...
even by scottish standards.

all I can add is I went to school with a Clinton Stirling Jarvis (I think thats how its spelled)

Stirling is a pretty big town here in scotland, there is a monument to Sir William Wallace and a really cool castle there.
