This was a silly weapon thought up by my players. I'll see if I can dig them out or even better get the Encyclopedia Icaria, aka The Byrnosphere (Byrn) to answer! I'll give him a prod to see if he can remember.

The damage statistics would be the same as 10.2 Ammo, which you can find in the Equipment Index and Mag and Rate of Fire are both 1. That I can remember.

Byrn? Prod. Prod.

Oh yes, I remember this one. Don't have all the numbers I'm afraid but I can fill in with a spot of educated guesswork.

Obliviator

Weapon: Main
BF: 70 (under version 4, 90?)
Damage: 500 (50m)
R/T: 1
Mag: 1
Ammo: 10.4P
Short: 0%
Medium: -30%
Long: -60%

Cost: (player team special, so um, not sure. If like the THC, maybe 100-200k?)
Rarity: (same. If like the THC, 99%)
Features:

Minimal Grav Balancing
Balances the weight of the weapon for aiming, and makes a small reduction in the amount of kick from firing. Meat > 35 to use

Description:
Created for ex-special forces TOWHHOYE (That's OK, We Haven't Heard Of You Either) at their request by their tech, Blankety Blank (player Gideon 'Dwain' Moss), this ludicrous handgun is a thought experiment dragged into the real world. The concept was to build a pistol firing the largest projectile ammunition available, the 10.2 high explosive autocannon round.

This it achieves, and with reasonable accuracy at short range. The only problem is that short range is also the blast radius. The other drawback of this weapon is its lack of sufficient grav balancing due to size and power constraints. The kick of the weapon is such that only the weapons specialists of the team were strong enough to fire it accurately, while the medic and tech (including the weapon's creator) would take additional negatives.

The weapon is muzzle loaded with single rounds, which are quite bulky. That said, anyone capable of firing this weapon shouldn't worry too much about the weight. A chainfeed addition would be impractical as it would likely more than double the size of the weapon.

Most people consider this a mere curiosity, an engineering experiment with little practical use. The plans (or a recreation of them) are said to have found their way onto the undergaia, although there are at present no reports of this weapon being used in a practical capacity.

Byrn you are a marvel. I can feel a one-off sheet coming on.

Does this mean I have to put it into V4?

Where I should have memory space for names and so on I have a section labelled "useless trivia" ;)

Not much point making a sheet otherwise ;)

Might need to revise the MT requirement given the generally lower stats of bionics of V2? Otherwise I doubt anyone could fire it...

Yep, I recommend a Meat of 15 - big enough for humans not to bother but you won't need much bionic to use it.

yep, as you might have guessed Doc's the player that prompted my asking that question about the eletric ignition systems on the weapons! heheheh he does keep you on your toes!

Ah, randolph, doc's one of your players? Superb! I'm glad that you could send a few over. :) If you have anymore with questions, they're all most welcome!
