4CC - A Free Superheroic RPG

Hey guys,

I've been an occasional member of 1km1kt for some time, and I thought it was time (on Rob's suggestion) to share some of my work. So, behold: 4CC, a game of Superheroic adventure, designed to be very rules lite and to imitate the form of comics as much as their content. I currently only have the "heroe's handbook", but that includes all the core rules, and enough info to get playing - I'll put together the "editor's guide" when I can.

Let me know what you think:

Edit:

Latest version:

Cheers,

Edwin

Welcome Edwin, I am thrilled you took the plunge. :)

I don't think I am too qualified to talk about supers RPGs and feel like a fraud for writing about them. This is because I come from a background without comic book heroes (except superman in films). I enjoy films when I see them but the tropes, conventions and core themes pass me by. Supers are adored more by a US audience (I'm a Brit) and therefore, I think there are others here with a much more valuable opinion!

Here's an updated version with some more information and some clearer explanations (and some typos removed!)

Looks good, if I'm being terse. The fonts work, the document's otherwise pretty simple. It works, though. I wouldn't be able to say much more without playtesting, but I'm still working on getting my Shadowrun group to be skilled at *Shadowrun* (characters are actually likely to die within the next hour, since we're meeting soon).

Every simple game grabs really strong. Hope I won`t be plunged into it all summer
