Not Sure what stat I should roll so I'll go with Ash's "Know Nature" skill and roll 3d4 and assume that Think is the paired stats and roll that as well.
Know Nature (3): 4, 3, 3
Think (4): 1, 2, 3, 4
Ash the GoatHead mutters and sputters trying to reach around and rub the sore portion of his amble derriere, before looking around and noticing the 'glowie growing thingies'. Paying no attention to anyone else who may or may not be around him he rolls about a bit in attempt to get to his feet. Once standing he reaches into the front of his robe and down into his leg to produce his decorated stick 'Boom-Boom'.
Waddling forward he closes in on the 'glowie growing thingies' with 'Boom-Boom' held out in front of him.
"I iz Ash the GoatHead I demandz you speaky and telly me whatz you iz, you glowie thingies.!"

Frinky Notnuts, who's totally not nuts, comes-a-rolling out of the portal only a split second later. With a clanking sound (that's unavoidable if your knees are more on the metallic, less on the bony side!!) she gets on her feet and tries to clean off the dirt of her magnificently woolly torso.
Seeing she has, whazzthatcalled, compost, no, competition, she dashes towards the plants as well. When she notices, that there are actually TWO of them, so there is no need to fight over a single one, she still chooses to examine the very same plant the GoatHead is busy talking to.
"GoatHead you GoatHead, silly git, thazz not how you talks to them plants! You whispers!"

Ash hears a voice behind him and pivots about like a large wobbly overly soft top and points 'Boom-Boom'
directly at the source. Sputtering and grunting from the exertion of just turning quickly he sizes up Frinky Notnuts.
Suppressing the urge to vomit at her cuteness he puffs himself up and grunts, slobbers and bellows . . .
"I iz Ash the GoatHead . . . I iz boss o' me and as I haz bigger boobies I iz boss of youse!
Now I sayz we yellz at glowie thingies as yellz is betterz thanz whisperz.! Yellz is Goblin Way!"
Mean Goblin Skill : Intimidation (1) = 1
I have no idea why, but I had to do it.

Goat head: its not a plant (that's all you know.
Frinky: its a nice looking plant! (roll think + intimidate if you have the skill, if not roll just Think)

I don't have the Intimidate skill, but I get "+1 to ALL social rolls" - guess that doesn't help here. (By the way, the two types of bonuses need to be touched upon somewhere in the rules, that is the difference between "+n to skill" and "+n to roll")
Think roll (2d4): 1,3
Frinky's little bead eyes focus on the GoatHead's goat head. She doesn't like being told what to do! So this meany gots to be taught a lesson. Frinky could shoot him in his big stoopid head with one of her missiles, but no, she is stealthier than that! She tries to turn the tables around. Usually only drunk gobz do that, but she is, you know, doing it
!!
"Oo, yu big boy, know so much about them plantz! They all growy and greeny!" she starts, her voice now a goblinishly seductive husky mess.
Seduction roll (2d4): 3,3 and I get +1 to all Social rolls! Does that make my rolls 4, 4??
If the GoatHead vomits, she will take it as a compliment.

Ash the GoatHead is not surely sure what is happening but if it was not for his massive over hanging gut,
he is not surely sure that Frinky would be all that excited about what is happening inside his robes . . . trying
to keep his attention on that task at hand he looks at the 'glowie thingies' again . . .
"It's NOT PLANTZ!!!!" Closing his eyes he starts tapping his skull between his horns, "Think, think, think, think."
His eyes pop open as if he's had a sudden surge of blood returning to his malformed brain, pointing
'Boom-Boom' at the 'Glowie Thingies' he smiles; "Hail to the king BABY!!!" and then he casts Goo at
the closest 'glowie thingie'.
Spell : Goo (Think + Rank = 4+1)[5] : 3, 3, 3, 4, 1
Might want to let us know when you are responding to our rolls how many successes we have actual made.
Just a little confused as it would seem we both succeeded at rolls to understand 'the plants" but have two
different responses. Which could be accounted for if using the Know skill was a different difficulty than the
Think stat.
