Hmmm, I really have been looking for some 3/4 inch SMLS but not for role playing. Maybe if you sold your pipe pre bent into polyhedral shapes it would apply here. Or no! I get it! You're suggesting some radical new RPG where the flow of a fluid through pipes represents the character's actions! Wow you're a deep one! I just can't imagine how you propose to resolve conflicts. Is it by comparing relative pressures? Maybe the length of the pipe could represent attributes while the thickness is their skill. But just to play you'd have to have a large selection of pipes. That would require a big investment on the players part. If you're just into your art for art's sake then I say go for it, but it's a problem you'll have to deal with if you ever want outside groups to play.

On the other hand your material mechanic makes no sense to me. What does the difference between ERW and LSAW model? I think you're needlessly complicating things.

Okay, this it a difficult feat so you're going to have to try getting molasses to flow through your pipe.

Everything I've imagined so far involves valve arrays and or making messes. I guess I really don't know enough about fluid dynamics.

I did think of a setup where you had an array of valves that would form a kind of logic puzzle. Jars of different colored liquids would be attached to the jars and the whole thing would be attached to a vertical wheel. Whenever you wanted to take an action you'd try to close off as many valves as a skill number allowed. The difficulty number would allow the GM to open a certain number of valves and the whole wheel would be turned. If any liquids mixed, the action would fail.

But I can't think of any logic puzzles with just pipes.

#1: even if its unplayable due to inishal costs...YOU MUST finish this game.

#2: this would be the first rpg that REQUIRES some one to clean your pipes now and then....not sure geekhood could servive!
