Congratulations, Edwin, please check your personal messages.
And howsabout some feedback? If you would like some feedback, then please pop over to your own thread in the and simply write Judges Feedback please! I'll post my notes onto the thread.
As I point out on the blog, I will be reviewing some of the games. There were loads I'd love to run, so the judging was a juggling job of applying the judging criteria.
I might find the text a bit hard to read, but the amount of work Mr. Moriarty finished in 24 hours is outstanding. Stress, signature items, multiple factions, and a unique initiative system - a lot was attempted, and that is to be lauded.
Well done.
Games of imagination are never truly done. Yet tomorrow we shall start another one.
I had a whale of a time writing SMAF (and I feel good about getting something with such a dumb name out there), and I'm really thrilled other people liked it too. I think I just got in the zone with it, and the whole thing flowed really easily in the end.
I agree that at times it was not so easy on the eyes, and next year I may attempt some illustrations... time to stretch the old artistic muscles!
Sadly, I already have a pile of RP projects on the go, so SMAF probably won't get expanded any time soon. That said, I'd love other people do stuff with it, and so I give express permission for anyone who reads this to rip it apart, rewrite it, reuse it, and claim it's theirs. Whatever you like is absolutely cool with me - as long as you have a good time!
