Silver Medal

I think we can all agree that Droog Family Songbook was going to place first.
My question to the judges, what were your "Silver Medalists" and why? I ask because that's where the conversation is.

My first choice for winner was actually "Spade vs Indy". I thought the system did a great job of emulating pulps of both the betrayal and action filled kind. It was nice to see a game where roleplaying and discussion at the table could change the outcome entirely rather than just get a GM's mod to the probability. However, the game was a bit short and lacking in presentation.
Ghost Runner had good presentation, and a very interesting world and background history. However, it just wasn't as fun to read as DFS. The penetration mechanic for combat was neat, but well there was just something in the milk that moved us all towards DFS me droogs.

The winner was an easy choice, DFS really stand out.
I also liked Spade vs. Indy, pretty much for the same reasons as Chainsaw Aardvark. I think the rules work really well with the theme.
