Now submitted!

You can all look at the description once it's been uploaded, but the short version is this:

---

The GM plays a VIP (called Keeton, of course), while other players try to kill or protect them. Roles are assigned randomly so nobody knows who the assassins are or how many assassins there are. Assassins deny being assassins; paranoia and cabin fever ensue. Improvised weapons, traps and poisons aplenty - like The Thing meets Home Alone.

Fairly rules-light (or rules-missing) system (with some chart-consulting for the fun of it) which can be adapted to different 'scenarios' (which act as individual game session settings and can themselves be tweaked), two of which are included in this version:

GET DOWN IN THE BOMB SHELTER MR(S) PRESIDENT
Protect the President from would-be assassins (or assassinate the President) in the Presidential bunker

PORTERHOUSE CODE BLUE
Protect the master of an Oxbridge college from would-be assassins (or assassinate the master) in the college wine cellar.

---

I didn't really get around to finishing it entirely (the most notable thing missing is that I forgot, in my hurry, to work out the order of actions in combat and various other minor but important things like that) but it's probably playable. I don't know if I'll continue work on defining the system or leave it up to groups to houserule and GMs to interpret. I'm pretty sure I'll make more scenarios for it and flesh out the existing ones though - I already have more ideas that didn't make the cut due to the time limit (after all, it's pretty formulaic and easily transposable to new settings and casts of characters).

PS: I tried to use fully gender-neutral proper nouns and pronouns, but one or two men may have slipped in at 3am, in which case I apologise to women readers.
