Do you have a skeleton for us, or at least an idea for how many skills our characters should have? How about the point buy vs Random Roll attributes. I've already go the 100 word write up and the Deviant circle worked out...

You can use one of the Scavanger setting skeletons or make up your own, as long as it's reasonable. For attributes, 32 point buy or 5d10 and assign attribute.

Skills have default starting levels unless otherwise stated. You can take any skills you can justify with your background, job or interests. Subject to GM approval.

I'm in! Going for the Human Resources skeleton.

The only Skeleton we really need is a Security one. Everything else we can blag.

I'd like to do this. Today I'm feeling very rushed. Tomorrow I'll try putting something together.

Great!

I think for Deviant wheels, we should just list the three most important items for our characters. The wheel is only advisory, it's there to help define your character.

Michael, you were contracted to the Ittan Orbital refinery for a period of three years. You were going to work off some debt, finish that sculpture idea you've had mulling around since, well forever. You've lived a beatnick drifter lifestyle for years, jobbing on the big frieghtliners.

Ittan was supposed to help you set yourself up. Get some money together. Get your life sorted. It's been five years since you signed that contract. Your job is little more than indentured slavery. They pay you a healthy wage, which they deduct heavily for phoney costs. Things like healthcare, accommodation, food and sundries. You're left with little more than nothin'.

You're sick of Ittan, SlenCorp and the whole goddam universe.

If it wasn't for the fact that all SlenCorp's employees on Ittan are in the same position as you, you'd have killed someone by now.

You need off this station... and you need to get even with the goddamm SlenCorp.

Bah, the low wages I could live with. If they just gave us the food and tiny wage, I'd accept honest socialism. But claiming large wages and then taking most? this system is a foundation of LIEs! And this dishonesty even corrupts the soul - they have no appreciation of art! I make drawings and images on access panels - all the easier to find than just a little location number and enriching to ye day as well. But THEY call it... vandalism...

(Go to common area/mess hall, stand on table, begin making public announcement)

My Brethren - who amongst you is still Human? We are made to appreciate art! We are made to ENJOY Life If they will not let us partake of the basics of humanity? We MUST take them for ourselves. Let us stop working an hour - a day - A WEEK for ourselves. Will the world end if we just take some time to drink from the cup of joy?

Yes, yes it WILL! REPLACED by a BETTER one! Where you have a real value, paid in worth and banked in art! Come ye humans, lay upon the loins of free-thought and impale the wicked hands of the greedy!

[If you can imagine Vincent Price imitating Christopher Walken by way of Peter Lorre reading "Leaves of Grass"...something is probably wrong, but you're getting close to how this might sound... or at least how Mike thinks this sounds]

(I presume this will be about the time station security drags him off, others shout him down, or another player starts speaking up... Admittedly, we're just going for a strike here, not a riot.)
