Maybe I will focus on the setting after the contest. Damn there are so many games i want to make. One including tarot cards, one focusing on pvp conflicts, a larp game and maybe a drinking game.

Well, it is November now - gentlemen (and ladies) start your creative engines!
I will attempt my game next week when I have a proper day off.
Good (NOT number based) luck and may the spirit of NaGaDeMon be with you!

Well, it's gonna be some time before I have enough free time all in a row to do this. In the meantime, I'll use NaNoWriMo to stave off my RPG creativeness!

Here choo go mang.

Maybe I'm just dense, but I don't see how I can create a beautiful game using that. I don't see a way to change the font, or more importantly, the font size. I can barely figure out how to put custom text on the page.
(but I do see a no-numbers mechanic- the tic tac toe board)

Kelcin, it gives you the idea on how to build a pocket mod.

If you have layout software, you can set that up. If you purchased InDesign I have a template for people that they could use. It just has the 8 boxes. If you have something like Scribus then you're set too.

If you look to the right on that page, there is a link to download the PDF to PocketMod converter. Then all you have to do is create an 8 page game at 20-30 pt font to take into account shrinkage, print to pdf, and run the converter.

Well, I got an idea of a numberless mechanic loosely based on divination and five Chinese elements. Then I sat to write it down and couldn't fit it into a pocketmod. So I sent it to RPGGeek 24hour contest instead, and decided to design something completely different for 1km1kt.

Maybe you'll want to read that bigger-than-pokemod-thingy anyway though.

I intend to write mine out this weekend. Thankfully, NaNoWriMo is occupying my creative space.

Bah. I can't keep the ideas held back any longer. Guess I'll have to burn it out today.
