Cyberpunk is dead. We want to save her! Bring her back.Post your thought, ideas, works in process design documents and anything about the project in here! The competition closed for entries at the end of June 2010.
I think I will enter, I got turned on to this contest via a post on . I'm writing a cyberpunk musical and trying to draw up a system for an indie scifi MMO, and I've always loved cyberpunk. I'll have to try hard to not plagiarize though, I've been reading way too much Gibson lately for my own good (got a stack of books for Xmas).
Oh, I cannot pass up a challenge. Especially not one involving one of my favourite genres. Count me in! I just hope I can make the time from the umpteen other projects my feverish mind has cooked up lately...
I had the weird idea of setting mine in . It'll be familiar to me, and new and exotic to pretty much everyone else! There are a lot of high-potential issues to be explored around here.
If anyone wants companies for their setting, I have a list of several that are in the Public Domain. That is, anyone can use them without restriction, or even attribution. Have at.
