Hooray for work stoppage! I should have enough time to get this running.
1124EST - Giving in and starting it now (stupid "lack of impulse control"). 1133EST - The 1922 Robin Hood is public domain, but I'm making my own artwork just in case. I'd rather be safe with crappy art than sued. 1205EST - Curse you Open Office! Stop changing my page numbers! 1220EST - I am surprised at how easily some of the Apocalypse Now quotes can be modified to fit Robin Hood. 1353EST - First big blockage. How do I kill people? How do they go mad? 1433EST - Found online tapestry generator. Hooray! Period-ish artwork! 1559EST - Just lost an hour of work due to, well, work. Back to the mechanics. 1712EST - Done with game mechanics, off to the setting! 1910EST - Did not count on the children. Lost nearly two hours getting them fed and tucked in. Back to the grind. 2205EST - Final push to complete the adventure sidetracked by the sudden realization that I have not done the Appendix yet. Crap - That's where I keep all my stuff! 2348EST - Let the prettyfication begin. 0140EST - {foreshadowing} Nothing can stop me now. I'll upload in the morning. 0747EST - I din't save?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Must re-prettyfy.

When all you have is a gun that fires windows, every problem looks defenestratable.
London... I'm still only in London... Every time I think I'm gonna wake up back in the Crusades. When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back here.

Very cool. I'll be interested in seeing where you take this - Robin Hood vs. Apocalypse Now was on my short list of ideas.
I debated taking the approach that Robin Hood == Colonel Kurtz, and the players were English soldiers, but I didn't know if that was hewing close enough to the source material for the competition.
Anyway, good luck, and I'll be interested in seeing where you take it.
When you think about it, it's amazing how well those two movies (or movie concepts) mesh. I thought I was super original and 'edgy' when I came up with it too.
I'll need to come up with a different combo (and of course, come up with the time to actually write the silly thing)...
misterecho - I assumed there could be duplicate combinations, but I didn't want to duplicate any entry unless I was really stumped. There are plenty of other movies to choose from.
