Anyone use Discord? I'm not sure of how much utility I'd get from it. It's a chat and voice app for groups. It seems like it would be useful for running games from a distance.
I'm on a handful of roleplaying game servers; one Only War server that has a bunch of different campaigns simultaneously, and a couple servers related to individual games.
As far as that goes, setting up a new game is based on whether or not that server has a setup for it. The Eclipse Phase server I'm on doesn't run any dicebot or anything, so we make a new server or go on Roll20 when a group plays from it. On the Only War server, we just play through Discord.
Dice rollers are not built in, but you can get them through a variety of bots, and they can be incredibly simple or complex.

I'm on Discord. I use it for voice chat with mates when we play PC games. I have used it occasionally for chatting with RPG chums but I'm not at my home PC much right now as we have a little baby in the house!
