I read some of the rules and it is simple but some of the rules are a tad complex.
Do you think it would work to remove some rules?
Thanks

Does what it says!! Not too simple (hence 500 pages) - remember this includes spell/monster desc riptions etc. Yet not too complex.

If you find the contents page too complicated then maybe TIC-TAC-TOE is your sort of game.

At least read the document and give it a go - its FREE so if you don't like it you've lost nothing.

The author has obviously spent a lot of time play testing etc. so you should be happy he's giving it away for nothing.

I'm sorry the page count scared you off. It's not a novel that you have to read cover-to-cover. I checked Amazon - the Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition Core Rulebook Gift Set has 832 pages...

I understand that there are rpgs that are "too complex" ..
However the first thing I notice at rulebooks is their size.
And when I see more than 500 pages, I cannot imagine how these rules will turn out beeing NOT highly complex.
A glance at the first content-containing pages proves me right: With races beeing randomized (but only, if s.o. wants to) and giving boni/mali to stats, I clearly do not want to read on: this cannot turn out beeing simple ..
Sorry, but after glancing at the first 10 or so pages I quit reading and deleted the document, as this one threatened to turn out to be the most complex set of rules ever ..
