Coming together

Well, the website is finally starting to come together. I'm excited to see the amount of traffic that's been generated just in the first few days! I'd definitely like to start posting some good content so we can have something valuable to offer our visitors. With that in mind, don't forget to send submissions to submission@1km1kt.net, and post some thoughts in the forum.

Also, if anyone has suggestions for the website, post here and let me know what you think.

I think it looks great! I am a little impratial though

was browsing through the site and i noticed a couple discrepencies.

1. 2004 at the bottom of the index page has a question mark
2. apostrophes in your article appear as odd emblems. may be a problem on this end,
but you should check it out anyway
3. you reference 1km1kt.com at the bottom of your article.. should be .net

I did some checking.. and everything i mentioned above is fine from my computer, so must be some trouble with the UNT lab computers interpreting symbols.

? marks appear in place of copyright symbols and bullets, and some other odd thing with apostraphes.

I went ahead and changed the 1km1kt.com to 1km1kt.net and made it a hyperlink.

We did an update and the site came down for about 15 minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience! I'll look into the security issues tonight. Thanks for the suggestion!

I think that the website is coming along very nicely. I am hoping that all of us will have some of our stories ready soon so that the site has more new stuff to read.
