Welcome to the little black hat competition. Pull a Name out of the hat and start writing...

Chainsaw: To your CD case game idea... (which I love) you ever play the pirates collectible card stock miniatures game? the dice are 6 siders the size of rice grains I swear. Its like gaming in pill form. Any ways I think THOSE dice could be used in that idea.....just a thought

I think I've seen a game of the pirates game played. I wrote a similar game that has all of its rules confined to one page. (Days of Plunder - posted at RPG Lab). However, I don't have anywhere to buy dice that size, its more of an intellectual exorcise. My intent was to make a spinner with some brads and card stock - or a number grid and a tossed coin.

Hmm... We could all watch our favorite movies and then make a game that fits in the DVD case.

I lost my Ogre set a year or two ago, but that all folded up into a plastic box about the size of a VHS (remember those?) That had everything - a 2x2 foot map, two d6s. and a hundred small counters, plus the rule book. Making old style micro-games like that would be a fun experiment. (Bonus points is you emulate the style of 80s rules sets like advanced squad leader. 1.2.14: numbered paragraphs. 1.2.15: Obsessive documentation 1.2.16...)

I am planning to do the Mini-GC as well as the regular one. I find I can do good if I get a starting point, someone suggest a topic, word, genre, etc. I respond well that way. much like my poetry does.

So Shifty if you want we can do one at the same time, 24 hr RPG that is. Have another in this thread suggest something, we go from there.
Heck not a bad idea anyways. semi like CDM over on Enworld
