I'm trying to provide a more clinical and analytical method for language production, that makes sense, rather than just an ad hoc poetic style that I've seen most people use.

Thanks for that compliment Rob, I guess I better get stuck back into a few more of them.

I love it, please keep going! Are you going to have a finished language at the end of the series?

Linguistics meets roleplaying, what's not to like!* The next step could be designing a writing system...

I'm certainly hoping to have a complete language by the end of it. My next post might be spread out over a couple of days because it's actually applying the concepts built up so far to the creation of "first generation words". These "first generation words" will then need to be filtered through accents, dialects, and regular conversant laziness (eg. Some contractions here, some slang there...) to get a more organic language form. Thus we'll end up with 2 forms of the language, a "high speech" which is clinically precise (but a bit unwieldy), and a "low speech" which is rougher but gets the job done.

PS... Yes, I'll be developing a writing system and creating a font for it too.
