[Weekend Discussion] What do gamers wear?

I play on week nights and most of my players come in precisely what they were wearing to work. The tech-heads amongst us tow the company line and wear a collared shirt and smart trousers, whereas two of the layabout types wear jeans and t-shirt.

I imagine that if we met at the weekend, it would look like someone turned out a heavy metal concert.

How about you lot? Anyone like to get dressed up for their game? Any Tuxedos or cravats?

Fez, smoking jacket, teddy-bear boxer shorts, and my good DocMartins. Topped of with a towel (Don't Panic) and a fancy tie clip.

Now that you've finished with the brain bleach, its actually just what I'd normally wear. Black jeans, T-shirt with some odd witticism, (check out , odds are better than 50/50 that I own any given shirt you look at!) quite probably a polar fleece outer wear and two pairs of gray socks. I'm one of those always cold people, and our group tends to meet in basements.

I get changed out of my whites into jeans and a t-shirt. Or if i've been at class then i turn up in my student gear

As a member of a hip city, I'm usually in pretentious hipster attaire. , pants bought of Haight St, some , and my mohawk up in it's full 6 inch plumage, and I'm ready to play.

I only get dressed up if I'm playing a LARP. Beyond that, not really no.

my day job is baking, i'm a part time student. I often wear a skirt and I have no idea what cricket is for. Why do they wear massive jumpers in roasting hot summer, then make them white to reflect the English sun's heat (sic)?

Grab an egg shaped ball and play a man's game.

p.s. I only get to wear skirts on very special occasions, it's comparable to an Englishman's top hat and tails, except we still wear kilts.

I would like to add that my post may have been misleading... not all scots play rugby. Most of us are pallid grey and have a mild case of rickets; also a fascination with deep frying everything, including pizzas, donner kebabs, chocolate bars and anything else you can think of. ew
