Final Twilight - Trinity now available online

Postby Nate_P » Fri Apr 16, 2004 9:52 pm

I submitted a chapter of the story to the site and have yet to see it posted, so I thought I might post the link and some information here ^_^
Final Twilight is a brand new trading card game from Neo Productions. Designed for gamers and fantasy enthusiasts, FT combines a detailed story with a casual gamer approach as opposed to the mainstream tournament approach thats embraced by other publishers.
Set in the fictional, modern city of New Metropolis, Final Twilight delves into the shadowy world of sorcery and its effects in the modern, real world. The old orders decayed, few true mages walk the earth and rouge magic users constantly duel in the shadows. Their petty fights and blatant disregard for life have cost many lives, giving birth to a secretive order bent on the anhilation of all mages and sorcerrors.
Trinity is the first set in the Final Twilight story arc. It follows the story of Mark Jarus, a vigilante mage and the last member of the order of Darren'Tor. A dark force has come to the city seeking to unleash an ancient evil in its quest for power. Following this darkness is a young fighter and member of the secret order, Kerra Neil. Her parents killed by a mages duel when she was a child she now hunts all mages in a quest for vengence.

"Trinity" is available online through the Final Twilight website. It is updated with new chapters and material weekly, building up to the release of the game in May! Check out the story and get in on the action!

Nate,

It's up now, and we included a link to your page. I got a chance to read it as well, and I really like the setting! Where will we be able to buy the card game?

I'm currently trying to work something out with some distributors, but I'm not sure how far it will go through those channels- Card games tend to sit back sometimes unless there is a huge surge behind them and every customer demands a shop owner order it.
It WILL be available through an online shop as soon as I have them from the printers.
Decks contain 54 cards, 1 six sided die and a rules booklet, all you need to get started, for $7.95 (plus shipping through the web). Each of them are preconstructed as well, meaning the decks are playable with a semi-coherant structure behind them right out of the box. Some customization is possible (adding or subtracting cards at the moment) but the game will reach true "TCG" status with the full release late this summer. I'm hoping to have the rest of the run finished by GenCon if this limited release goes well enough.
All in all, Trinity will encompass about 120 cards, fairly well split between the three characters and generics.

lol -
No, I wish I were that talented. I had a lot of help in that department, about a half dozen individuals and two studios who made the artwork for me. I did a lot of sketching to get the shots I wanted, but they did all of the work. Some very nice pieces there as well, the art on the site and even on some of the cards is only a part of it.
