Writing a new rpg

I like where this is heading! All good thinking, crazygeek. For the background, I recommend writing down all the big topics and then add subsections. I'll start you off:

Society
No overall Authority/Empire/Federation
No politics
Lots of local planets
Knights of Light - good guys - no bionics - telekenetics
Arakary - bad guys - lots of bionics
A neat sector of space, crammed with systems

Technology
No space fighters
Light jumping / Hyperspace common (cheap?)
Some sort of super-cool internet for hackers
Light sabres
Guns? Energy weapons?

People
Do you have aliens?

I like this D100 system better. Will there be skills?

Sorry for not updating i just finished my exams and i am ready to fully dedicate to this so first step i need testers so who volunteers ?

Oslo i settled about my light knights they will have light sabers which basically will be laser beams but with an unknown technology instated of driving away from the source they stay in place. If you want to be a student you must abandon everything but the thinks you can Cary in a backpack because you never stay in one place (yes it may include starship keys :rolleyes: ) The first step is to meditate in an extent that will allow you superhuman intelligence. the next is to train your body to its full potential so you can actively use that power. Light knits do not Cary weapons except their light saber or light katana as some refair to it. It is used as an offensive and defensive weapon because it deflects laser beams and vaporizes bullets in contact( if the bullets are explosive ones they will explode probably disrupting the projection.)The higher levels of the knights may even have the power to convert some of their mental energy to physical generating enormous strength or moving thinks at a distance (telekinesis) They may even mentally connect to someone by interpreting the tiny lite electric charges the brain generates although they have to be very close to use that ability I want criticism and input on that:rolleyes:

crazy, your posts are getting difficult to read. :) Please put them through a simple browser spellchecker before posting up.

Like the idea of owning only what you can carry. The light sabre stuff sounds just like star wars, so you will get criticised for that. There's nothing particularly outrageous here, you've described Jedis nicely. I think any player will have no problem visualising that.

I'll have to see a completed game before I volunteer to playtest something.
