DavidEBest: I think so, yes. Even though Mouse Guard is all about the group and hierarchies ("the tenderpaws should pay attention to the older guardmice and learn" etc.), it can work really well with just one player. The table chatter were really relaxed and helped her (the missus) develop and connect to her character.
I have been playing online in DDO, I had played D&D 4th ed with my friends. We got to the point where we agreed the rules are just to flat and put it down. My friends have been trying to get me to play pathfinder (I thnk that is the name) as it is suppose to be a fixed and more balanced version of D&D. I have heard of that before though (unearthed arcana and v4) and I am unconvinced and beside I want to focus more time on my system for now.
I have one group on Fridays and another on Sundays. The Friday group is currently playing Mage: the Ascension, alternating with Changeling: the Dreaming or Marvel Superheroes (both GM'ed by me) on nights when the main GM can't make it. The Sunday group just wrapped up a story arc in Immaculate (run by me) and will be starting a Pathfinder campaign in two weeks ('cause I need a break!).
I have a monday group. We finished 1890's gaslight campaign tonight, next week we start playing in a Masks of Nyrlathotep campaign. I am trying to finish my 1920's UK call of cthulhu campaign, before I write a campaign for the laundry rpg.
I will hold off running the 1920s campaign, until it's really polished (in a state where someone else can run it). The Laundry one will just be short hand personal notes.
