I do remember hearing that plans are in the works for Game Chef 2013...it should be in the next couple of months.

Quick gist of it.

Game Chef 2013 is going to take place from May 17th to May 26th.

It's going to be a multi-lingua one with competitions in Italian, English, and French confirmed as they have volunteers from the various communities.

So, what do people think about using the images as ingredients?

I think it's a great way to avoid having to deal with translation.

I must admit I was a bit taken aback when I saw them. Joe's obviously being a wily old fox, highballing accessability for vision-impaired folks but giving us pictures to work with???? I think I need all of the ten days to try to work out what his game is (no pun intended).

Quite an interesting twist! The "theme" picture kinda gave me an idea, but I'm not sure I'd be able to turn it into something substantial...

It was a nifty little turn. I've got my draft done. I was kicking around some ideas in my head for a while about social interaction in analogue games after playing Dragon Age 2 and this is the mutant love child of those thoughts and game chef.

I like the idea of pictures but I think the actual pictures they've chosen are a bit difficult.

I think we should lampoon Game Chef (in a friendly, chucklesome way) with this year's 24 Hour RPG taking an image from here:

I'm too late for this one; I had an idea, but it turned into a "let's make cover art in Blender" which turned into "I wonder how to run physics simulations in Blender" into "Oh hey, three days left and I haven't started and I've got obligations for most of that time."
