Writing examples is both important and uninteresting

I think the fine folk on this thread have covered almost everything, but I'd suggest adapting examples from real play experiences you've had. Don't under any circumstances write down everything word-for-word, but do base your examples on what would actually happen.

The reason I'm so insistent on this? Too many games are for groups of 4 or 5 but their examples only ever have 1 or 2 characters in them. This sometimes makes it impossible to figure out how the rules work when the game is actually played.
